Kim Mei-Li Dennis
Founder & CEO

Kim founded Jungle Management in 2002, providing legal services in corporate, commercial and intellectual property law for the advertising, marketing, media and technology industries.

 

As a lawyer, entrepreneur and strategist, Kim has worked with numerous start ups, private companies and listed corporations on deal making, buying & selling businesses, new product development and diversification, and licensing & growth strategies. She has also played an integral role in the introduction and development of new technologies and methodologies into the Australian marketplace, having advised innovative businesses from start up, to growth, to exit.

 

Prior to Jungle Management, Kim was Legal Counsel for the Seven Network, during which she worked on the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games and project managed the implementation of the national privacy laws. She also practised at Cowley Hearne Lawyers in mergers & acquisitions and venture capital, and Holding Redlich in media and entertainment law. Kim also has significant experience working in public relations, advertising, marketing, media and market research.

 

Kim was Chair of the Small Business Council of Australia for the Hon. Joe Hockey MP and the Hon. Fran Bailey MP from 2003 to 2006. Kim founded SME Boardroom in 2009 and RoundRoom.Co in 2011, both businesses to service entrepreneurs.

 

Kim has also published articles, spoken at various business events and been interviewed by the Australian Financial Review, Alan Jones, The Age, The Finance News Network, Ad News, Marketing Magazine, My Business Magazine and The Law Society Journal on various legal, business and marketing issues.
